2011 Deacon Nomination information
Nominations for voting deacons to begin serving in 2011 will be accepted until Sunday, September 12, 2010.
Each church member may nominate as many men as he/she wishes.
Please review the qualifications for deacons listed on the Deacon Nomination Form provided below or in your Worship Guide on Sunday and prayerfully consider who you should nominate. Though not required, it is recommended that you contact each nominee and secure his permission to place his name in nomination. All nominations must be submitted to the Deacon Nominating Committee using the Deacon Nomination Information Form. Additional forms are available at the Volunteer Central Desk at the West Campus and the church office at the East Campus. Completed forms may be dropped in the offering plates or deposited in one of the collection boxes identified on the Form.
Please note that each nomination form must be signed by the person submitting the nomination(s).
The 2011 deacon election will be held in all three morning services on Sunday, November 7, 2010. Members of the Deacon Nominating Committee are: Larry Dale, Andy Gressett, Martin Keil, Craig McCool, Jane Werne, Zara White, Brian Whitmire, and Matt Willson.
