Music And Worship

Worshipping God through praise and adoration is an important part in living a victorious Christian life. Colossians 3:16 tells us to “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” The Message paraphrase expresses the last part of that verse – “And sing, sing your hearts out to God!” This scripture reflects the heartbeat of the Music and Worship Ministry at First Baptist Church of Brandon!

There is a place of service for almost everyone in the family. We provide a wide variety of musical opportunities for all ages – from four years of age on up! Come join us as we lift our hearts together and “sing and make music with all our hearts” to honor the King of kings and the Lord of lords!

The Celebration Choir 

Make His praise glorious! The Celebration Choir is our Sunday worship choir. The membership consists of college students through adults and senior adults who lead worship weekly. Members sing in the services of their choice, leading our church and those who visit toward a more intimate relationship with God.

The Celebration Choir meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the East Campus Choir Suite.

The Sanctuary Orchestra

Each week the Orchestra leads our church in worship through instrumental praise. The Orchestra is a place for instrumentalists to use their talents, gifts and abilities to serve God. The Orchestra is an amazing picture of the Body of Christ, with each player’s note adding its unique flavor to the whole.

Children's Choirs 

Preschool and Children’s Music on Wednesday nights

Wednesday nights are a great time for our preschoolers and children.  Each Wednesday, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. during the school year our children have the opportunity to learn about the many ways that they can worship God!

Children’s Choirs is for 1st grade – 5th grade and meets in the Children’s Center Building and The Attic.

The children will experience worship leading, biblical teaching, and wonderful ways to recognize the work of God in their daily lives.

Preschool Choir is for children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2009.  Our K4 and K5 children learn about God as their Creator and Provider, and they are given opportunities to learn to share about Jesus with their friends and families.
