How to join

We invite you to consider becoming a member of the FBC Brandon family.  Here are the three steps in becoming a member:

First Step: If you have never received Jesus as Savior and Lord and/or never publicly confessed Him, you will be given an opportunity at the end of each worship service to do so.  However, we would love to share with you prior to that time if given the opportunity.  Contact us at 601-825-6766 or email .

If you are a Christian, you are welcome to join First Baptist Church as a member.  You can complete the back of the Welcome Card (in worship) for membership and place it in the offering plate or bring it forward during the invitation.  If placed in the offering plate a member of our staff will contact you about your decision.

Second Step: We ask that you follow Christ by being baptized by immersion after your conversion.

Third Step: If you choose to be a member of First Baptist Brandon you are required to complete our Membership Class (MC) and submit your written testimony/story.  A Guide for Writing Your Personal Testimony/Story is available to guide you in this process.

MC is offered the first Sunday of each month on Sunday mornings. Registration is encouraged.  For more information about MC, please call 601-825-6766 or email . After completing the standards for membership (accepting Jesus Christ as savior, being baptized by immersion, completing MC – which includes submitting your testimony/story and signing the Membership Covenant), you will become a member of our church family.
