Choir Notes March 3, 2010
It seems that just as soon as the Winter Olympics began, they ended. Maybe you are one who sat riveted to your television in order to catch every moment. Or maybe you are the type who would prefer to read about it in the next morning’s paper. All in all, when the shouting died down, it seemed the lack of snow was the biggest story during the Olympics. While that was a big story, it certainly missed the entire point, didn’t it?
But how often are we guilty of the same thing? We can carry on conversations about anything. The weather, our job, the economy, gas prices. Even church. But are we missing the main message? Are we ready to talk about our Lord? When I think about the Lord, how He changed me, how He saved, how He raised me, how He filled me with the Holy Ghost, how He healed me to the uttermost, it makes me want to SHOUT!
So tell me, can your friends hear you shouting?
