What a great worship experience Sunday! And you really not only stepped up to the plate, but also knocked it out of the park with your enthusiasm, your musicianship, your attitudes, your facial expressions. I could go on and on. I thanked Aaron for “taking a risk” and singing with us without any rehearsal time. His comment? “Next time I come back I want the choir to sing 4 or 5 with me!” Thanks for what you add to worship each and every Sunday.
THIS SUNDAY we will be led in worship by the DNow Band. This band will be leading the youth DNow all weekend, and have agreed to lead us in worship on Sunday morning. Please be in prayer as they lead, and as we worship from the congregation. We’ll be back on our regular Sunday schedule the next week.
And please be in prayer for Friend Day, coming in March. Over the next few weeks we will be talking about inviting people to come to church with us, and even come to sing with us. Friend Day is actually Sunday, March 28. But for the choir and orchestra, why can’t we have Friend Day the Wednesday before? That way, when we invite people to sing with us, they’ll also have an opportunity to rehearse with us. Please be praying about these possibilities. You’ll be hearing more soon!
You are loved! John
