Choir Notes - February 10
Oh, my goodness! What is going on in this world? The forecasters are predicting snow AGAIN. And the Saints won the Super Bowl! Is it me, or does it seem like there are some unusual things happening? I don’t mean “unusual” in a bad way. I mean quite the opposite! I’m certainly enjoying these sorts of surprises. While I’m not so sure of any of these things, I am certain that God is in control of ALL things! And I just love it when God “shows up and shows out” and makes an ordinary gathering of believers into something unusual. It can happen in a worship service. It can happen in a rehearsal (it can happen in a meeting, too!!). And when God takes the ordinary, He can make something extraordinary out of it. Let’s be honest, that’s what he did with you and me. We were just ordinary before He took control of our lives. And now we are extraordinary children of the King! Let’s be praying that God will do something unusual this week in the lives of His children.
